The Rich Jerk by Kelly Felix: Affiliate Marketing Course Review

If there was ever a time to work from home, start your own business, or simply make a little extra income online, it is now. With the state of the economy in a worldwide recession, it is now imperative for everyone from all walks of life to have a backup plan, or something to fall back on. The easiest and fastest way to make money online is through affiliate and/or niche marketing, and Kelly Felix's "The Rich Jerk" course teaches you effectively how to do just that.

Kelly Felix, the mastermind author of this course, literally exploded the glass ceiling of affiliate niche marketing at a young age(before 30), and continues to generate millions of dollars of income yearly through utilizing succinctly the techniques contained in The Rich Jerk. Before reaching his 30s, he found a system of legal loopholes and secret methods to market affiliate products on the internet and create multiple streams of income from his affiliated programs. His discoveries, still valid to this day, are nothing less than revolutionary, and can best be described as, "hey, why didn't I think of that?" I also want to add that Kelly Felix in real life is NOT the character he portrays in "The Rich Jerk." He is actually a genuinely nice guy, and this is evident in the amount of information he shares with you, although the approach is less than congenial.

I have to first issue this disclaimer: "The Rich Jerk" lives up to its title. It is the antithesis of "Anti-marketing" -- that is, this is the way you should not market a course or write material ever. You have got to go into this with at least a sliver of a sense of humor, otherwise you could be offended and quit before you start the course. The website, blog, forum, and course material itself is written in a condescending manner, filled with insults, put-downs, and low-expectation statements to and about its readers. However, keep in mind that this is just part of the act, a clever, viral marketing ploy by Kelly Felix to market his product.

The most amazing thing: It works! It has gone viral for years. So many people have bought this course on word-of-mouth on the basis that here is this course which insults its customer base, yet contains an "over-the-top" amount of information and all the tools you need to construct a highly profitable and successful business, as well as create multiple streams of income with unlimited earning potential.

When "The Rich Jerk" first came out in 2005, it was soon to become THE handbook for affiliate marketing on the internet. Literally, thousands, tens of thousands -- maybe hundreds of thousands -- of aspiring internet marketers have found much success through learning his system. Many of those who purchased his course in those early years are now amongst the most successful internet marketers today -- just a simple Google search will attest to this fact.

When I purchased The Rich Jerk a few years back, it was basically $100($97), but the information contained therein was excellent and more than sufficient. Within a year I was making a comfortable, healthy, steady income from home which I learned from this condescending marketing system. Here is what I have figured out: Felix made this course "offensive" or "condescending" to keep your interest in learning his highly profitable techniques. Learning, reading, and applying can be at times boring, uninspiring, and just plain tedious; but, you never know what The Rich Jerk is going to call you next, nor do you know how he is going to explain the next technique. It literally keeps you on the edge of your seat, being an entertaining read, all the while learning helpful, money-making techniques in the process. I guess you could call it "subliminal negative reinforcement." The approach of The Rich Jerk causes you to keep your interest in reading and applying his tip, all the while unintentionally using his insults and low characterizations as a motivational tool to keep going.

Overall, I do not necessarily agree with the approach of "The Rich Jerk," but somehow it worked for Kelly Felix, and the valuable information contained within its pages is priceless. I must confess that I am a little angry though. As I mentioned before, I paid nearly $100 dollars for this course when it first came out, and was more than pleased with the value for the money, especially when I saw a good amount of money rolling in in such a short period of time. Now, he is offering the course for only $9.95!!!! What a "Rich Jerk!!!!!"
